The beautiful town of Nainital in Uttarakhand is a favourite hill station as well as a shopping destination. Here you can check out some of the famous luxury hotels and resorts in Nainital. Nainital is located amidst the majestic Kumaon hills and is a renowned hill station in North India. The town has been a favourite summer retreat since the early 1800’s and was frequented mostly by the British. The town got its name from the enchanting Naini Lake and also from the Naini Devi Temple which is located at the banks of the lake.

An attraction

While rest of India melts with atrocious heat, wintry Nainital tempts everyone for a pleasant holiday. The climate of Nainital is generally colder than other locations in the Kumaon region, and that makes Nainital a perfect holiday destination to beat the high heat! You can choose out of various Nainital holiday packages that are available but make sure not to plan the trip during the rainy season, i.e. during July to August, as it rains heavily in Nainital. High rainfall may spoil the fun to enjoy trekking and driving. For the rest of the year, Nainital is nothing but heaven with lovely weather, divine beauty, and endless adventure.
